In Missionary Leadership Council President Dayton taught about diligence, work, and using time wisely. I taught leadership principles and how to be an effective leader. We discussed ways we can improve baptisms and the council made the following decision regarding emails: E-mails will only be read on preparation day. The time is extended to two hours for e-mails (an additional half hour). We discussed how e-mails read during the week are a distractor, because missionaries are tempted to stop where there is WiFi, at a computer cafe, a church, or at a member's home. We decided that this policy will help us remain focused on the all-important work of bringing others to Christ.
President and I received our residency cards this week. Elder Day and Elder Wadsworth accompanied us.
Elder Alder and Elder Keen danced to the words "Dos Zapatos," which emphasizes the importance of finding and teaching in missionary work.
