Madrid Seminar

We attend an annual meeting with the Europe Area Presidency (President Johnson, Elder Sabin, Elder DeFeo), all stake and district presidents in Spain, and the 3 mission presidents.

We get to spend time with some returned El Faro missionaries!

We get to spend an hour with our missionaries in the CCM. They will arrive in Barcelona on Tuesday, February 20^th.

Palma Zone Conference (January 22, 2018)

We enjoyed a leadership meeting with our zone leaders, sister training leaders, and district leaders to begin the day.

In our morning session, I gave instruction on leading the music in 2/4 time, and then presented on Creating a Life of Happiness. Our assistants, Elders Duersch and Bristol, presented "Breaking Down the Duece," and did a very creative song to reinforce the concepts taught.

Elder Adcock taught Lecciones en Español, and Elder Bressler gave us a teaching trick.

President Dayton gave instruction on how to prepare an inspiring baptismal service.

For lunch, we enjoyed lasagna, french bread, salad, and a delicious dessert prepared by Elder and Sister Hutchings, Lundberg, and Nelson.

For the afternoon session, we began with our scriptural memorization challenge and a musical number by Sister Southwick, Sister Bashaw.

Elders Fowler and Mayall teach on the power of the Book of Mormon. Hermanas Read and Gratzl taught "Time to Stretch", and President Dayton ended with a "Testifying, Inviting, Challenging Missionary."

Hermana Harris and Hermana Black shared with us their reflections as they will be leaving this next transfer.

We viewed a beautiful video and concluded with our testimony meeting.

On the 21st, we went and visited the Ibiza Branch! President shared a talk, and the Lundbergs' shared a lunch for the entire branch after church.

News Day 2 (Jan 10, 2018)

This morning all of the new missionaries and their future trainers came to the mission home for some final instruction. We held a session to Train the Trainers. We also had a luncheon of mexican burritos and salad with all the new missionaries and trainers.

Afterwards, we held a final set of instructions before getting to the exciting training assignments!

Viejos Return Home (Dec 29, 2017 & Jan 9, 2018)

We have a dinner for the 12 missionaries going home this transfer. During the meal, each missionary reported on the most meaningful experience of their mission, the thing they will miss most about Spain, and the one thing they will not miss about Spain. We then had a beautiful testimony meeting and ended by singing our mission song, "Brillan Rayos de Clemencia."

The missionaries prepare to board their planes and enjoy their last moments in Spain.
